Free parking is available in the car
park next to Marsden railway station (just out of the village
centre) and next to the National Trust information point. The
site is just a 15 minute walk along the towpath of the
beautifully restored Huddersfield Narrow Canal. There is limited
parking for blue badge holders at the visitor centre but anyone
with special needs should ring in advance for advice on 01782

By
car: Standedge is signposted off the A62, through
the village of Marsden, about 6 miles from Huddersfield.
By bus:
Huddersfield-Marsden 182/183/184/185. Bus number 184 also serves
Diggle, Uppermill, Oldham and Manchester. Contact
