BE PART OF IT |
|
How do you
fancy being part of one of the ‘Seven Wonders of the Waterways’
and home to the longest, highest, deepest canal tunnel in the
country? Well, we currently have four positions available for
someone wanting to get involved with their local waterway
attraction. |
| ● |
Café & Retail Assistant:
As a volunteer Retail & Catering Assistant you will be
serving customers and handling their enquiries at this
small but busy visitor attraction. The role includes
manning the till, preparing and serving a range of food
and drinks and ensuring the café, kitchen and shop area
are kept well presented at all times. |
| ● |
Events Volunteer:
If you like the waterways, love meeting new people and
get excited about sticky backed plastic and glitter glue
then why not join our team of events volunteers? As a
friendly face and through fun activities you will help
engage people with your local waterway. |
| ● |
Visitor Centre Guide & Story
Teller: You will be the face of
the Visitor Centre, playing a key role in the enjoyment
of the visitor experience and ensuring visitors leave
with a greater understanding and affinity to the
waterways. |
| ● |
Wild Over Waterways (WOW)
Education Volunteer: We are
looking for volunteers to join the WOW education team
with tasks including leading school visits or assisting
with family activities at events. |
